Dubstep nights in Galway?

is there anywhere that plays Dubstep or similar kind of music? i guess The Pucan Drum n Bass nights would be the closest thing?

Arus na Gael used to do them one thursday a month or something but not sure if they still do.

Don't think the Pucan run those drum and bass nights anymore, but i could be proved wrong.

Upstairs in the Pucan catered for a real variety of musical tastes a few years ago..

They still do the trad downstairs. They had a club upstairs ('the junction') that was a rent-a-club - it would be gay one night, dub another night, metal for a weekend, etc.

Afaik though, the upstairs has been closed by order of the fire marshall for about half a year now.

Man dubstep is getting huge, its everywhere lately. I'm sorry I cant help in your search, there was a facebook group a while ago who are organising a free party in the countryside. Seemed legit too. Anyways, dubstep was the main theme. Sorry, just checked there. Think they took the page down to stop undesirables from viewing. Will post if I can find it..
