Dragon Quest V for the PS2 has just been fan translated. Patch is available here. You need a Japanese copy to dump an iso from, so you can patch it. Also a chipped PS2 or really good PC for the PS2 emulator. Tbh, I'm happy with the DS release's graphics.

I'm more interested in playing Suikoden III on PS2. I can't find the U.S. rom and trying to get a PS2 Emulator to work is hell.
