    Here we go again. Where is this supposedly "secure job" that George Lee is going back to in RTÉ? It's certainly not to his old, high profile position as Economics editor.

    The guy is going to be demoted in RTÉ. Anything less than his old position is in effect a demotion. When will this sink in?

    Again: he isn't returning to his old "very secure job in RTÉ". He is returning to RTÉ, but not to his old job. He is, in reality, being demoted. Let this sink in before replying.

    No that's incorrect.

    It would be doing your assessment of RTE grading of job roles by prestige too much credit to say its 'just your opinion' or just subjective.
    Its so manifestly idiotic and inaccurate as to be just laughable.

    To be honest the guy must have some ego to think that he can just waltz in to the party and think he can drastically change anything within 9 months.

    OK so, we're beign pedantic. Whatever his job title, he's goign back oin the same money. However will he cope?
