    So if your and Emt here and apply to the hpc in the uk, will or what would it be recognised as in the uk?

    They wouldnt recognise you, HPC in uk only recognise Paramedics trained on recognised courses, I dont believe they do recprocity like PHECC do.

    Short answer is no. There's no accrediting body for EMT grade in the UK, the EMT in the NHS is done in-house. HPC only covers Paramedic. And Edexcel stopped running the IHCD Ambulance technician courses in 2008.

    Edexcel are still certifying IHCD Ambulance Technician courses until 2012 at least from what they tell me.

    I think the O/Ps origional question has been answered so I think we'll lock this. Ye can create another thread if ye want for further discussion.

    Im not suprised really, but I am disappointed that sgthighway hasnt replied to the known/verified Paramedics who have challenged posts in regard Morphine. Makes me wonder.....
