Transfer from Google maps to Garmin

Excuse me if this has been asked before.

How is it possible to transfer a location from Google Maps to a garmin GPS via the computer?

I followed the instructions but couldn't find the "send" icon.

You might need to install a plugin first?

Did a bit of rooting around in the Google forums there and there seems to be a bit of a problem with that feature right now.

I have the plugin installed and my Send button has disappeared too. Mind you even when it was there, I always found it a bit temperamental, and didn't always work for all addresses for some reason.

Had/have the exact same problem. Let's hope they fix it soon, the Garmin plugin would be quite handy sometimes (and works perfectly well on the geocaching.com website for me so far)

The facility does not work for Ireland (only Northern ireland). It works for the UK.

I tried it earlier and was able to save a few locations in the Republic.
