Thanks Magic, reserved one yesterday evening and picked it up today, nice set for the price.:D

For anyone who couldn't find one in their local store, it may be worth checking again as some may come back on the system if they were reserved but not collected by the end of trading today.

    Thanks OP.

Got one in Letterkenny, seems quite a good bargain.

After seeing that bargain, I went hunting!

When you click into the Argos site, go to Latest Price Cuts, pick your section and then click into clearance - there is a load of stuff that has quite a bit off. A number of luggage sets with about a third off, useful to get for holidays, only thing is that they might be sold out in some stores. Definately some good bargains there!

If the watch is too big do Argos take it in or do I have to get it done in a jewellers?

Hi nellyshark, I'm pretty sure Argos will do the adjustment for you they usually do.

Thanks, thats good news, i got this yesterday and unfortunately the watch is too big for me! Might bring it into Argos and see what they can do for it

Its very nice mind, and the same goes for the wallet, a true bargain!

Never thougth of asking Argos to do it at the time. I just figured I'd have to remove the links myself.

Haven't done it yet, but it looks straight forward.

    Me neither.

There's a general concensus that the watch is too big then i guess?

I think generally with most bracelet type wrist watches, they're bigger by default, for those with bigger wrists. Just remove the links necessary for the perfect fit.

Collected mine there earlier in Cork - really good bargain, Valentine's sorted! Thanks OP!

You should be buying kinky stuff for Valentine's not watches :p

The size can be adjusted at the clasp reasonably easily by about 1cm -any more and you will need to remove links

I went into argos in Castlebar and they took the extra links off it for free.
    Great spot OP
