I'd just got used to replying '19' when someone asked my age, then I turned 20. I'd be suprised if this becomes normal-feeling sooner than a month before my 21st.

I'm female, and i am from the "country" and yes i do need to count on my fingees! Only have ten, so it's a challenge to get to 26. EEEEK. Was just out for a bit, was going to get drinks in, didn't bother as i've no id with me. Sick of getting asked for ID. I'll get it later with my passport. I've gotten to 26 and still look like i'm 16.

phasers: If only that was my birthday last year

I think i've set myself up for disappointment when it comes to the cake portion, think i'll get one, just don't think it'll live up to my expectations.

For me, if someone asks me my age, I tend to go, "I'm 26" and then realise that I'm only 25, that my birthday isn't till August. Because right off, I think my birth year and current year. It gets really bad when you have to take your socks off to guess your age. Everything goes downhill from there.

Interesting little fact - a person giving evidence in court cannot normally say how old they are because it is hearsay. If it has to be proven, they need to bring their mother to court.

Or their birth cert? This can't be right. My mother died last year so guess i can make up what age i want to be....

Birthcert alone is also hearsay because its a document (although can in some circumstances be proved). Would have to have someone who actually witnessed the event, although it is rarely a big issue in most cases.
