it's my birthday

    Hi all

    I stood at my bed last night actually having to work out on my fingers how old I am. Just to make sure. Is it just me or does any one else seriously question how old they technically are? I can't believe the age i am. It's weird. no?

    Ask your mom what age you are. She'll probably remember.
    It gets really bad when you have to take your socks off to guess your age. Everything goes downhill from there.

    See, when I say I'm 22, I don't feel that old.

    But then, when I look at it, I've lived through four decades, two centuries, and two millenia.

    ..Then I feel old. :(

    Yeah, the past few years (4 or 5) have really flown by. Sometimes I get sent off kilter when I'm asked how old I am... "Erm..... ... ... .. 16? Yeah, 16"

    ya people seem to think im 16 as well, really irritating. Unemployed so no work any day.....! but can't drink so no hangover for me anyway...

    If I give you my address will you guys send me a giant cake? I would really like a cake. Really

    As a child of the seventies, the year 2000 was so far away and so futuristic that it held a great fascination for many of us. Woah! What will things be like in the year 2000!! What age will I be in at the dawn of the year 2000?

    Well me six year old brain worked it out. I would be 26 at the dawn of the year 2000. Having worked this out, I never questioned it again. For the next 19 years of my life, if the question or thought ever came up in conversation or discussion, my answer was always 26.

    That was until the December of 1999 when I realised......

    I'd still be 25 at the dawn of the new millenium. Not 26 till the end of January 2000 :D Six year old me made an elementary finger counting mistake and failed to recheck my finger maths for the next 19 years :D

    When asking random internet strangers for cake, be careful to ask for delicious cake of some specific sort ... say Black Forest, or Christmas cake ... otherwise you might end up with urinal cake, which is not delicious.

    happy birthday. Yep i nearly had a heart attack a few months back when i realised i was gonna be 30. Took me weeks to get my head around it. I keep thinking im around 26 :eek:
