Powerfull PC Protection Mailware

    hi guys, Ive a laptop with Powerfull PC Protection mailware on it and cant get rid of it. Ive downloaded Malwarebytes but it wont open when the laptop boots up, only in Safe Mode and when I scan it finds 4 threats and when I try and remove them it wont. anyone got any idea's?

    Have you tried something like Spybot Search & Destroy?

    I cant get the log in safe mode, Ive tried to install spybot but it wont allow me to run it

    i had this VIRUS lately too. desktop goes blank then displays a virus warming screen. if i can remember properly what i did is turn back on my firewall(which was turned off). downloaded regcure from a torrent site like isohunt(the full version). i then installed and ran regcure in safe mode as the trojan blocks the installation on normal mode. i also (in Safe mode) manually deleted the 'anti virus protection' folder that appears with the virus from my program files folder. regcure should delete all the changes made to your system reg made by the trojan....restart and hope for the best.

    It didnt work, It found 1628 errors in safe mode, happy days I taught. Restarted ran it again it was about 50% scanning and the program shut down dont know why. Thanks anyway

    Hi just an update, I got it sorted. I used Smithfraud in safe mode, then on startup CTRL ALT DEL go to Task Manager Then processes and end the Powerfull PC in there, installed Spybot updated it and ran it, found 4 items so I deleted them then ran it again in safe mode and it found 2 more items.
