Only came across my first nuke boosters the other night in Team Deathmatch in Karachi. Luckily the guy going for the nuke was on the opposite team so I stopped his streak and when the match was over he was completely raging at me over the headset. It was hilarious.

I was playing the other day for a good 2 hours and didn't see a single nuke boost attempt, is it improving or was I just lucky?

Am I the only one that actually enjoys playing agaist boosters. It makes a change from just having the best k:d ratio. As soon as I see somebody is boosting I just make it my misson to kill them and ruin their killstreak as often as possible, don't care about anyone else playing, they can live, I've got tunnel vision. I find nothing more satisfying in the game than pissing off the cheaters, they usually message me abuse about it or plead with me to stop for a game but I glory in it.

Just yesterday I was playing against 2 kids, can't have been more than 14, but the eejits didn't mute the rest of us so I was able to hear their plans 'lets meet behind the helicopter' 'you know the shed at the top of the map' 'I'm at burger stand inside the terminal'....easy pickings, in the end up they had to leave and try a different server.

Although in saying that, the novelty will probably wear off soon but until then, keep them coming

You mean in two consecutive games I presume? But yeah, chances are fairly high it was boosting. Either that or you happened to get thrown in against someone like SeaNanners etc.

Yeah, FFA is really hit and miss now with the amount of people boosting. It is great fun to hunt them down though.

Always seem to see them on Estate, in the games room of the house, out by the shed or by the power station place.

I stopped one particular pair twice in one game. My favourite bit was chucking a stun grenade into the games room, knifing them both and then killing the guy who tactically reinserted again.

Got nuked 4 times in 4 games by some pair of cnuts who were boosting. It happened twice in Rundown, and once in Estate, both maps which I'm unfamiliar with. Also happened in Karachi and can't believe I didn't find them.

So, I went on to Youtube and got a few hints for hunting them down. Was playing Rundown again later and found them in the petrol station. The guy had 27 kills and 1 death, so I'm assuming he was very close to his nuke. They were raging at me for killing them. Anyway, for what it's worth, here are some observations / suggestions about boosting.

Seems to be worse at weekends - maybe more kids are playing on Saturdays and Sundays?
Create a class of weapons designed to hunt them down, and make sure SitRep is one of your chosen perks, as this helps identify tactical insertions.
Watch the videos on Youtube where people find them and kill them. It's good to know where their likely hiding spots are.
Having a good anti-aircraft gun is advisable because they will more than likely be calling in Harriers and Pavelows. Also, it would be immensely satisfying to take the boosters out with a stinger.
Keep an eye on the bottom left of the screen. Boosters are always shooting their mates in the head, so if you see the headshot icon appearing, pay attention to the names and if the same people keep coming up, you know they're boosting.
In the pre-game lobby, scroll through your opponents and see who has the nuke emblem. If two or more people in the same lobby have the nuke emblem, there's a good chance they are boosters.

Yeah, 1 game after another. I remember killing him once, but had to unload a full clip (ACR) into him

Have yet to be asked, but I'd probably say yes, and ask if they want to knife me, for the lolz. Of course, if they knew me, they'd be on the look-out for the C4 attached the barrel next to me...

Do your C4's blow up when you die? I'd have thought they just disappear like the Claymores.

next time accept it, let him get 24 kills then, bham!! commando knife his ass, delete him, and stick him on your block list, which, if hes anything like me will piss him off no end, i use to hate when people messaged me abuse or called me a cheater then stuck me on ignore before I had a chance to respond and defend myself, I'd imagine it would be similar here.

all week i have been stuck with these idiot's nuke boosting, normally i start with a quick game of ffa to get me started then hit some demolition or hc s&d.

All this week it's been nuke boosters,last night 4 out of 8 players on ffa where nuke boosting ffs that only left 3 players other than me that weren't and they diden't seem to notice:mad:.

I had to pass 2 lookouts before I could find the ******* and kill them, while the other 3 fools where shooting me while I was trying to get to them.

The abuse was foul my message box is just indecent with the foul stench of cheat's that are pi**ed at me.

However no nuke for them, 2 hours I followed them round when they moved I moved, they dumped me eventually, Round 2 tonight:P.

Oh I have never gotten a nuke because it's a stupid way to end a game I don't set it up.

I haven't really come across this on the PC at all. I'd imagine its due to the difference with Steam and Xbox live though, you need to be friends with somebody on Steam to talk to them privately and when you are friends there’s no way to end up on opposing teams in game.
