A friend has a 2009 VW Jetta. The warning light for the airbag has come on and remained on.

Any idea what he should do? Should he simply ignore it as he is currently doing?

    Thanks.

Why doesn't he just bring it back to the dealer and have it repaired under warranty?

See if you can find someone with vag-com to have a look.

    Like a dealer:D

It wont cost him anything and I would get a safety item sorted pretty quickly too
