I grow up in the days of 9600bps modems so, Doom update download was ~2 weeks 6 days to download.......

OK, I'll own up, I felt sorry for her. Her Saturday Nights seemed to be made up of her getting tarted up and then not actually going anywhere, a bit like her post one-hit career.:P

There are the odd files that take literally an eternity, and are never finished. I found the one and only torrent for a 600mb file that I was looking for, and didn't notice, until I reached 98%, that the other 20 or 30 people all had 98%. The one with the 100% had fecked off, and never came back, despite my waiting three weeks - bastard!:(

A paltry 14 or so hours compared to some of you...downloading an online game and patches.

When it was finally finished I closed the curtains and threw it on.
