Can I get surround sound from my HTCP using coaxial?

Does anyone here no if it's possible to get 5.1 from a coaxial connection?

I want to connect my Mac mini to my amp but the only free ports left in the amp are 1) HDMI (video only) and 2) Coaxial (audio). I've no free toslink optical ports left.

My plan was to get this for the HD video:

You'll need a convertor that converts the toslink optical connection to a digital co-ax connector

Then a 3.5mm optical cable frpm the mac mini into the converter and the coax cable you mentioned from there to your amp.

Cool thanks. It's a shame Apple don't have HDMI in their computers yet.
