Price to put down skirting?

Hi All, I am looking to put down skirting, ~500ft. Does anybody know the going rate carpenters charge ? I was getting a quote varying from 1.20 euro to 2 euro a foot. Any help appreciated.

Is it a house your doing? What type of skirting is it (hardwood, softwood, mdf)? Is it going to be painted? The rate can vary depending. You could offer to pay a chippy by the day.

It would take 3 days max. There's plenty out there that would be delighted with 3 days work.

The skirting is 194mm, has been painted, is for a timber framed house, white deal.
