I hope the man is okay and will recover.

A rare occurance, but unfortunately shootings happen.

I think it has been almost three years since a similar incident occurred. Very sad, a 42 year old is quite likely to have a family, terrible for them.

That shooting is just awful, I just hope it's not the start of something...

He died :( - this is really sad and yes a very rare occurrence in Cork.

My friend right next door was very worried, I hope this doesn't start to become a regular event :(

I passed there at like 7.45 on the way home from work. Only for the fact i got a lift i probably would have been passing when all this went down. Scary scary stuff.

Yeah my friend skyped me saying he heard 2 shots. Scary :(

Ive heard rumours about the victim but wont go into it until proper info comes out about him.

The seriousness of things like this don't really hit you until it happens on your own doorstep...

That's through, it isn't until it's somebody close by that gets hit that you realize how sad such a thing is.

Hey, Nursey! :D Depending on where you live, I always use the Great Wall chinese, which is situated in Blackpool. Decent food, decent prices and pretty quick delivery. Phone no: 439 1818.

If you're in Wilton, I know I'll be slaughtered for this :o But Jumbo isn't bad at all, they're by SuperValue by Togher (officially The Lough but most people think it's in Togher). They were closed by the health folks years back but they sorted themselves out and are issue free since. The place is always packed too :)

Well I wanted to give the full story :) I used to go there occasionally before they were closed (they were only closed for a week or so) and so had no problem going there since as they must have improved whatever the issues were. I reckon it's ten years ago since they had their issues.
