    Hi all,

Just treated myself to Sky+HD, and also a magic eye for upstairs.

I am looking for the CODE that Sky uses to transmit its signal so I can programme and use a Universal one to work Sky upstairs.

It's probably here already somewhere, but I haven't seen it yet!

    Thanks a mill...PS it's the puppies privates!!
Staying in is the new going out!!

What make is your sky box?

    Try 288 for starters.

    I'll try that thanks.

    It's a Phillips remote I think.

    288 doesn't seem to work.

    Any other codes??

Is it a 3 or 4 digit code that is needed do you know, did you get a manual with the remote?

Can you look in the services menu of your sky digibox and see who the manufacturer is, probably Amstrad, Pace or Thomson.

It's a samsung model number 0.7.060. I have read that some universal remotes don't work HD boxes so if I can't get mine working may have to just get one off eBay.

Just to give an update...ended up buying a new genuine SKY remote via Ebay off a guy in Cork for €13.

Works perfectly and controls tv too.

    Happy bunny!

    Thanks for all the help.
