Seat Ibiza parts-cd console

I just bought a 2001 1.0 Seat Ibiza and it has a console for climate control and the radio cassette player.

I want to install an mp3 car stereo and as you can see i would either have to bolt the it on somewhere on the side or try and find a replacement console that has a standard stereo slot. It is easily taken off so I hope there are factory replacements such as this.
Any ideas or sources?

As far as I know it can't be done.

You may be able to get something that will connect something to your existing stereo via the CD changer port but removing the existing unit isn't an option because of your climate control/heater thing.

but replacing the climate control and the cassette to the same one but with a setup that allows to slot in a standard stereo ?

the stereo is part of the climate control i.e they use the same display.

you could use something like this

No idea how that would affect your climate control (whether it'll work without the display) or if it actually fits the dash. seems to be the same anyway.

I doubt there is an Ibiza with both climate and a boggo basic stereo.
