Average time of daylight in Ireland

    Hi All,
    I really didn't know where to go with this question but I figured someone where would be wise to it.
    On average over the course of a year what percentage of the time do we have daylight in Ireland?

    haft to be 50% would it not. otherwise we would be getting more than australia

    doubt it, if that were true then it would only be bright from say 7 in the morning till 7 in the evening all year round.

    Tough one to work out but its higher than 50%

    taking ireland as being 53 degrees north, it seems its 12 hrs average for the year.
    seems to be the same every where on the planet too.

    see here

    type in 53 in the latitude box, and select the 'show yearly average' tick box
