I think you should get a girlfriend or a dog or something and spend less time playing games. To be honest with you, playing mw2 comes in at about 10000th place on my list of priorities so there is no point in boasting me about your high score because i really couldnt care

I have a girlfriend, two dogs and a cat (it used to be two cats until another terror from the bushes robbed it) and video games are just one of my many hobbies, however if I'm going to do something I may as well be good at it, not settle for cheap, crappy tactics having spent money on it.

You're saying one thing, but your emotional response indicates another. It's ok if you want to sit in a bush and pull your plum, but just don't get upset if people call you out on it. Now go dry those tears.

Edit: I also have three goldfish, who replaced 3 other goldfish who spent too much time in their faux bushes and died.

Get double digits camping all the time. Got 50 camping on a rooftop on Karachi in Domination mode alone.

Onto a new gig now too, only in CTF. Camp the home flag with a noobtube & a thumper and have scavanger Pro slected. Get tons of kills, reload your tube after every couple of kills and you get 2 or 3 claymores to throw down. Sweet deal in fairness and it pisses the other team off no end. Discovered your kill streaks stack also, wait till you have all 3 and go running until you die, get the stove out and start again until you get one or 2 more rewards for the 2nd half, then unleash them one after another.

Camping, to an extent, is fine in game modes like Domination, Demolition, Capture the Flag etc. but if everyone did it, the game wouldn't be worth playing

40+ kills on skidrow with a chopper gunner or ac130 is tough seen as most of the other team are usually indoors and or blocked by high buildings, so id say youre wrong there

I don't see the massive problem to be fair. If opposing players are stupid enough to get killed from the same spot over and over, then they deserve it. It's pretty satisfying to get killed by a camper, respawn and launch a grenade in their general direction. If tactical insertion is used, then it's even better.

Camping is part of the game. i rarely do it because its not fun to do it every single game but from time to time it can be.

I hate these people who just shout abuse at campers. It's a style of gameplay. It's a good thing that not every player plays the same way. It gives you a new challenge.

Just because you wouldnt get enjoyment out of playing that way doesnt mean others wont. life and games would be crap if we were all the same

I own the pc version and am on my 3rd or 4th prestige at the moment. My brother bought the xbox version about 2-3 weeks ago. I gave the console version a go to see the contrasts. I have to say the camping in the console version is extraordinary. Whenever i looked at the minimap id notice a concentration of teammates around me at all times. Now the reason i stayed with them was due to an atrocious aim using those sticks. Every time i looked at the killcam footage i could see the enemy zoom in and hit centre mass whereas i zoom in have to toggle left-right, or shift left-right or even prone to get my sights on the enemy. Running and gunning for me on the xbox is pure suicide. So the only way i can get kills is to stay put and camp an area. This seems to be what everyone else on my team does too. Its part of the initial learning curve to get better at the game... to the frustration of everyone else. Im guessing theres an awful lot of people out there who struggle like me. Infact it seems everyone i met struggled like me

I also think another downside to using the sticks is not being able to look behind you as quick or in most peoples case, not at all. I was camping out in a carriage on derail near the b flag picking off people as they were coming out from C, under the bridge and the left area. I was surrounded by teammates all looking forward,camping with their sights dead ahread as the enemy came from the left...

Theres a massive skill gap on the console between the cans and the can nots. Theres nothing to be done about this im afraid. If someone is new at the game they are going to camp.Its the only method people employ to survive and got a kill on the board. No point moaning about it. Its a learning curve

Its not a big problem on the PC because fortunately enough people can aim.

Tbh, adults playing with toy guns and even dressing up to do so is infinitely more funny than any possible reaction to a game. Except the angry german kid obviously.

I dont like camping but I was watching a guy the other day in youtube you was giving advice on how to camp, rush, be aggressive...

I tried his advice and got 38-2 kills without even trying! I tell you anyone could do it and tbh, it was great fun but after a while it gets boring. The only funny side is when you find someone camping and you take over his place, then he comes back over and over and over... its amazing how much personal some people take it and come back for revenge. I easily killed a guy 25 times!

Once I remember killing a guy and the guy kept coming back, so quickly, that he didnt even allow me time to leave the building, I must have killed him (luck on my side) over 20 times...

When I dont camp I get on average 25-9

I'll "camp" when I deem it necessary. if you see players running around like idiots across open ground, I'd be a bigger idiot not to find a decent spot and pick of 2-3 before moving on.

In fact, when the pickings are really good and I have a play list full of these crazy mofos, I'l pick a nice bottleneck, lay my claymores and absolutely dominate the game. I racked up an 11 kill streak by just placing a claymore inside a door and watch as they kept running thorough and blowing up. Given that theere were 5 other players in the game, then its clear that one or more ran into the trap 3-4 times. Players with memory spans of goldfish deserve to augment my killstreak.

Like so many things in life, success is generated by doing the exact opposite of what everyone else is doing. they run around like idiots, I wait and pick them off.

It's their problem if they cannot change their strategy to adapt to another player. It's MW2, not Lemmings.

Honestly, if you don't like camping, play Unreal Tournament.

As far as I know, how you choose to play a video game, has little or no effect on the size of your penis or your sexual orientation.

The people who get worked up over this, and who are infinitely proud of their screenshots are ridiculous. You are not a hotshot soldier, youre just a guy with slightly better hand eye co-ordination than some, sitting in his room playing a game.

As far as the camping goes, someone wants to camp, let them. Its more realistic as far as real warfare goes, youre not gonna go running blindly into a battle. As people have mentioned, watch the killcam, head back there and kill him. If he keeps going to that spot, keep killing him!! I wouldnt leave the game, and I certainly wouldnt start thinking about his penis, as some people here seem to.

No a persons decision to camp for what ever reason they deem is strategy. They are making a decision to do something for a reason that they feel will affect the outcome of a game. Fish Hooks all around here though at the moment, make of that what you will!
