    found ash trays

Let me guess, just lying on a table outside a pub?

Who carries around an ash tray?

Found a camera outside the local school just after Christmas. Put a free ad on www.found.ie , printed off 2 posters that they provide on the site and put them up outside the school. Owner contacted me...turns out that it was a kid who was given the camera for christmas so child and parent were delighted. Good feeling so everyone happy!!!:)

We are all happy for you and well done and all, but this is about things you find and keep, so why don't you go get the camera back and report back to us.

I was in Liffey Valley shopping centre about 7 years ago and whilst walking by the AIB ATM, the machine was beeping the "take the money" sound. I went over and there was €160 just waiting to be taken out of the machine.

I took it out and told the nearest security guard.

He went on his radio for a while but after an hour of checking with security cameras they told me to keep it.

I legged it to Virgin and myself and my mate bought a copy of GTA Vice City on the PS2 each, had a feed in Eddie Rockets & went to the cinema.

    Great Day.

I was going with my friend to collect his bike from the bike rail thing, which is a usual hang out spot for....undesirables. Anyway, I was messing and shook his bike and lo and behold a phone came flying out of it :P It was kinda crappy but I kept it. Anyway about a week later the screen broke.

Also, if anyone found a white 1st gen ipod nano in town (Dublin) between Georges st and Grafton st about two years ago in an orange case, it's mine :o

I was on holiday in the Algarve back in 2007. Found this little blonde girl, she looked bored so I kept her. Maddie or Annie or something. She's polishing my shoes now

Apparently her parents mentioned it in the news, but.. you know... finders' keepers

I found a large black bag abandoned beside the Spire earlier. I think it belonged to this guy that was running towards a nearby car. He got in and the car sped away before I could return the bag though.

So, I brought the bag home but haven't had a chance to look through it yet. I think it's a large clock though as there is a ticking sound coming from the bag.

    I'll post an update later.

I found 500 quid on the ground in a factory yard. i told the security man that i had found money but not the amount. Went into the canteen for my breakfast, guy came in, in a state, correctly answered the question of the amount.
I allowed him to pay for my breakfast. he was pleased . so was i.

I once found a new designer wallet in the toilet of the night club I worked in, it has being gutted of all money and as I was in need of a new wallet, I went ' yoink! ' and kept it, 7 years later and I still have it.

I can also remember one night out in town, firstly finding €35 on the ground in a bar and then later the same night on the way to a disco, found a €50 note on the ground.

Nice feeling coming home with more than what you went out with! :D
