Felt retro today and bought C.O.D. 3 for ps3. had it a long time ago on x-box and loved it. Problem is it will only shows/plays in black and white. Felt retro today and bought C.O.D. 3 for ps3. had it a long time ago on x-box and loved it.

Problem is it will only shows/plays in black and white. This happened once before with one other game but the fault rectified itself as far as I remember. The game was bought as secondhand but was prestine to look at, not even a smudge.

Has anyone a solution besides bringing it back to the shop which is a round trip of 100 miles.

What are you using to connect to the TV?

Usually B&W problem occurs when using analogue video connectors which transmit the picture in PAL, but the game is in NTSC so the colour gets dropped.

May not be the issue here - but I can't see any other reason that you would see the colour drop out other than possibly faulty/bad connectors for S-Video, Component or Composite.
