Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle?

I chose the Bulbasaur and ended up with a level 100 Venusaur. Those were the days. In the cartoon though Charmander I thought was the cool one of the group.

Yeah, it was sorta presented as Charizard thinking it was above Ash's skill level, and it was similiar to the games when you had a too high leveled Pokemon. Sometimes it would listen, other times, not a hope.

It was always
Charmander for me.
Charizard always got me out of bad situations in the game. SO MUCH POWER!!!

I think I'm just drawn to fire types. I ended up with a Typhlosion in Emerald and I'm using Infernape now in Platinum.
They are just awesome.
