asked this on the portable media device forum but only noticed now that this is a better place for it.

hey, ive been busy trying to discover new bands but i notice that their albums are much cheaper on the USA itunes.

(example:White denim:Album called Fits, is 9.99 euro here and only 6.99 dollars on USA itunes? not fair if you ask me)

is buying gift cards from ebay the only way or is there an easier and faster solution?

Unless you have a US credit card, I can't think of any other way.

So they don't care if you're actually IN the US? This could be good... I thought it would be like the electronic book site that actually looks at your IP address and tells you that you can't buy stuff. GRRRR.

nope, they take your location from your method of payment so if you get a US itunes gift card, it can only be used in US itunes. handy because itunesIRL is a disgrace, no videos etc.

I guess they don't want to p*ss off US citizens visiting/living abroad.
