    Hi folks,

My mate has PS - he had an op there in May of last year - had to take 3 months of work in case it got infected.
I do not fully understand the disease, but it has flared up again. He is taking antibiotics but this time they are not as effective. Apparently he needs another operation but he does not want to go for it as he does not want to take the time off work.
However from what I have read the longer he leaves it the worse it will get - is this the case?
If so how could I convince him to go for the op?
