Thought it'd be an idea to have a thread where people can link to any good pieces of equipment or deals that come up on ads, seeing as not everyone checks it everyday. It could also serve as a place for people to locate something one of us is looking for second hand.

To start off, here's a good deal on a VCI-100.

Also, if anyone sees a decent MIDI keyboard, something like a Behringer UMX25 or an Oxygen 8, for under €50, throw a link up.

Great idea EG. This way if someone is selling something here they can just bang it into this thread, and also notify the others of good deals etc.

A Monome just went up, interesting piece of equipment.

There are also 2x CDJ-400s just gone up there, but they're pretty expensive. I can see them going down to 800/900 or so soon though.

Looks a serious piece of kit, and more like my current Vestax mixer which I have loved now for several years -

Some great ones just went up, two from the same guy, a Pioneer DJM 400, and a set of Technics 1210, and there's also a, (hubba hubba), Xone:62.

Edit: Just saw another nice one, a Pioneer DJM-800.

Hmm so they are interesting, although i would probably still go for the vci 100 myself!

Same, a vci-100 with a better soundcard then you can get in the 300 would cost about the same as a 300, so it makes much more sense.

I considered the vci-300 but decided against it in the end. It comes with Serato Itch which I don't think its as good as traktor. Mapping the 300 to Traktor is not as easy as it would be with others, it does not use traditional midi like the others, so you need a piece of software - a 'translator' to enable it to talk to traktor ok. Not ideal. It does not have as may buttons/controls - although you can get a separate effects controller - but its an expensive combination. Check out the TR1 - it was specifically designed for Traktor pro.

So I bought a pair of new Sony MDR V700s online yesterday but had a gig last night and so rushed out and got a pair in the sony centre. Turns out it was too late to cancel the order and now I'm left with a spare brand new pair of headphones. Just looking to pass these on at cost price (60eu cheaper than buying them in a Sony centre).
