Has anyone seen that Father Mathew in Patrick St. has been given a yo-yo? I though it was the funniest thing I'd seen in ages. The apostle of temperance walking the dog, hahaha.

Haven't seen this yet!! Totally hitting it after work to check it out thougj, hope it's still there. Genius whoever did it!

Ooh boo boo!! :D Gorgeous! How're you at handling Puff? I'd love a lizard but I'd be sickened at having to handle the locusts/crickets.. *shudder* Defrosting mice for my snake was bad enough. :)

    morning all.

it's very quiet here (UCC) this morning.
I thought it was a bit easier to walk in town this morning.
it's not as icy yet. I reckon all that melty slush will freeze though.

Man I found it so hard walking to Grand Parade from the North Mall!! Impossible!! Slipped the whole way nearly! Found it a bit funny though cause the sound of the city was like you'd find in a game of Worms!! Every two seconds from all directions all I could hear was "woah!" or "oh!" as they were just about to slip! :) Thinking about that at the time though I joined the chorus! Damb you karma!!

Worried about gettinghome from work though. I've a feeling the conditions are to get worse. :(

What's it like in the City? - Out in CIT is like a scene from Silent Hill with the fog and the fact that there's no one here today.

Well I thought it was dodgy! Alot of buses have been stopped, eg none going to northside or to Glasheen.

Everyone's hanging onto the walls and each other to avoid slipping too. Even the grit has sludge frozen over it now.

There was also like a fifty year old making snow balls today! He was lining them up by the Old English Market, at the Grand Parade entrance, getting ready to throw them at his collegue on his return to the delivery van! :D

"back to life, back to reality...la la la" Finally back in cork! took last week off and was suppose to drive up from Tipp yesterday but was way too dangerous to drive... like 5/6 inches of snow in my garden this morning! but driving up was actually surprisingly fine...Bless the people gritting the roads!!

Its so funny outside my house. Its on a hill and its incredibly icy. People are hanging onto walls and everything and falling all over place. I love to have a camcorder from my window.

it's still fairly slippy out here too. still a couple of abandoned cars at the bottom of the hills.
I reckon tomorrow morning will be brutal - all the wet slush will freeze.

Its already frozen here. I actually slipped at a cross road then in the middle road. Thought it would be safe but it isn't!

Ok so there was this girl walking up past my house while I go to the shop. I thought she looked like a girl from home so I said "Hey ****"...she looked and walked over, sliding all over place. Then I realized it wasn't who I thought it was, not only that I've no idea who she is but she kept talking as if she knew me. Talked for ages....how could I say who are you after initiating conversation! On about driving from back home and asking me how the drive was. She must have being from Rathmore, bit coincidence.

    Crazy stuff
