Buying new car with extras- will it limit my discount

    Hi,
    If I want to add extras to a new car will it limit the discount I can expect? I was quoted 17,500 after discount for a new car, and then 1100 for the extras. The extras were list price and no budge on them. Am I being realistic looking to get it all for 18,000?

    When I sold cars the profit margin on options was somewhat higher than on the base car.

    If they want your custom and the sale they'll play ball - if not move to another dealer and play them off each other :p
