Thanks for that, picked up a few longs and a pair of bib shorts. Be interesting to see how these fair out.

I wuldn't get out of my way to get here tbh. They gathered all the cycling together with running gear. Probably unsold items from last year. there are a good few things, but not THAT much. Maybe have a look @ your local lidl?

Pretty good selection I thought, they have plenty of sizes and types i.e
    • bib shorts (not too many, but a gew XL & M)
    • long leggings
    • wind proof cycling tops (long sleeve)
    • Plenty of summer gear as well, short sleeve tops, etc.
    • Plenty of running gear i.e. thermal t-shorts etc
I'm in two minds about picking up a few more bits and bobs, on a tight budget but no point in buying a load of stuff that falls apart.

I'm trying to splash out on a pair of decent MTB clip in shoes and pedals as well, so will see how I get on.:pac:

Thanks Caroline, my local is the Cork St. one which is good but they've no gear at the moment.

Yeah i want to get spd shoes - that's my next present for myself...although getting a road surface i can cycle on would be a plus, it's been a month now between arctic Galway and this snap in Dublin that I've been wheel-less.

Yeah, I'm waiting until the cold snap is over to get SPDs - I've had to stick out my feet a few times to stabilise myself, SPD's could make that more problematic. I think I'd have a worse fall if me and bike were attached. So far so good through - safe cycling out there.:pac:
