    I'm not going to say the rear is beautiful, but my god does it look imposing. Even in pictures, in what's usually not a great colour, it has presence.

    I'm 99% sure I saw an 09 D reg SL65 AMG tonight in Maynooth. Was too in shock to even get the reg and it was too dark for me to be 100% sure if thats what it was. I didn'[t think there's be any of those registered in 2009 in the Republic

    EDIT...could of been SL63 now but it was bloody nice!

    This car was a modified Ford Thunderbird as far as I remember. I think Jag was owned by Ford until recently , Berty my friend , I think your on to something.
    Maybe the Jag is just some old chassis the had lying around after they realised the people did'nt really want a pink limo for executives :p

    Ford owns (or owned) both Aston Martin and Jaguar. Thus, "Die another day" featured the whole Ford portfolio: Aston Martin, Jaguar and Ford Thunderbird.

    That Jag XJ on the previous page is a fab looking car. I've sat in one in Germany and the interior is one of the nicest I've ever seen.
    Nice to have an alternative like this to the usual Mercs/BMW/Audis et al.

    That new jag, looks better from the rear than the front, any pics i've seen online was the other way around. Preffer the XF though
