I suppose the fact that he and his kind are quite possibly the most bigoted people on planet earth, I feel fairly justified in feeling ZERO sympathy for him, or her!

So bigotry is best treated with more bigotry then?

Fcuk sake, they're human after all.

    Here's to Iris!:D

Wonder will this spark things off again, could be another Helen of Troy fiasco. Except Iris would send a 1,000 ships the other way.;)

So, having no sympathy for a bigot means that you are a bigot? That makes sense:rolleyes:

Hey, when Hitler died, many had no sympathy, bigots are they?

It's the irony of it, I guess.

Robinson has said some really hateful stuff, in an incredibly self righteous holier than thou manner, some gems being:

"I have a very lovely psychiatrist who works with me in my offices and his Christian background is that he tries to help homosexuals — trying to turn away from what they are engaged in".

"just as a murderer can be redeemed by the blood of Christ, so can a homosexual.... If anyone takes issue, they're taking issue with the word of God".

"There can be no viler act, apart from homosexuality and sodomy, than sexually abusing innocent children"

When she's being so judgemental, and saying stuff along the lines of "the government has the responsibility to uphold God's laws" and then it turns out that not only is she a bigot, she's an incredibly hypocritical one, the reaction from people isn't really surprising.

To be honest I'd be lying if I said I didn't take a small measure of satisfaction in seeing her exposed for the hypocrite that she is.

Edit: Added to that, this outpouring of her secrets is looking more and more like an attempt to direct attention away from the potential exposure of financial wrongdoings.

Well if you can't see past a persons political views then you're at best as narrow minded as they are

If his wife had of succeeded at committing suicide would there be such a celebration? No there wouldn't.. or at least you wouldn't openly admit to it

Personally Id like some proof she did try it. That and her stepping down for "mental issues" seems like a damage limitation excercise more and more to me as more time passes.

Jesus christ. Do people have to drag Hitler into every discussion about morality? Or any discussion full stop? He's been dead for nearly sixty-five years, let it go.

That is to say, don't let go of the lesson we've learned from the terrible war. I just wish people would stop bringing Hitler into every irrelevant discussion.

Judging from the chaps name I seriously doubt he is a Catholic. A real shame though because who doesn't love seeing someone fall from their Higher than Thou platform.

Yes "Peter the Punt" looked a broken man last night.

Total contrast to his brash buddies who marched into and smashed up Clontibbert in 1986. I wonder if his mate Ian will come and rescue im this time.

Ha ha this is the story that just keeps on giving. Looks like Iris forgot that the Bible also says that adultery is wrong. "He without sin", eh Iris!? Looks like her God does exist after all and he is a funny f*cker!

I think people are entitled to be a little sceptical about the timing of this. There's a Spotlight programme on BBC tonight about the Robinsons and their finances. So Peter comes out blubbing on the telly, just like Bertie did when asked about the source of his money.
And it is OK to laugh, her jockey was younger than her own kids.

Also the fact he was in great form in Stormont only a few hours after her alleged suicide attempt made me very sceptical.
