Me I'm a tomato and red pepper fan - french onion soup is good if you can get it.

Bovril is like diluted coaldust and In still hate the stuff. They removed the beef because of mad cow disease .In my youth horrible reconstituted oxtail soup at school and it still seems the stuff of soup kitchens . Packet minestrone soup was tres sophisticated and if you were lucky you got a freeze dried pea.

Tomato and basil is usually my favorite, or a good chicken soup. Oxtail coming in third.

I do like my Bovril though... but I wouldn't call it a soup! The beef is back in btw!

Tom ga kai, Thai chicken and coconut soup.

I'm not normally a fan of soup unless it's freezing out (like it currently is).

A good home made chicken and veg soup does the trick for me!

nicest soup I had for this weather was Chicken Dahl soup. It's a thick soup with some curry, potato and chicken in it.

Didn't feel much of the cold after having that:)

If you can read this, you're too close!

    Whiskey soup! :)
If you have the time and the patience then consommé is a winner otherwise potato&leek.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Garlic and potato soup. It has the added bonus of keeping the sales competitors from getting over friendly.

Not really a soup fan but when I get the urge it's creamy mushroom every time!

Edit: Ah, I just realised I wandered into the GC and thought I was in tLL...sorry if my lady soup preferences skew the results!!!

Used to love heading into Yo! Sushi around where I live and just getting cup after cup of their bottomless Miso Soup. They closed down however, and it's now a food court :(

Best soup I've had on a cold day has to be some "Foie Gras Soup" I had in Paris; chanterelle & sh!ttake mushrooms, diced shallots and cognac amongst other things all mixed with the delicious taste of Foie Gras...
