My brother and I were lazily watching the American Music Awards (never heard of them before but they seem to basically be a poor man's MTV awards? Not sure)

Almost every song performed was rap or R&B and every one annoyed me. I try to be as open-minded as possible and like a fair bit of rap and R&B but the stuff in the charts these days is just dire. Can't wait til it goes out of fashion and the airwaves are dominated by reggae or something.

Good call on Chelsea Dagger. It came on in Whelans one night so myself and a friend left the dancefloor in (an unnoticed) protest of it.

Add Use Somebody (I'll always feel ashamed of the time I sang along to it in concert) and Amy Winehouse's cover of Valerie to the list (the original was grand.. but this...).
