I have made several attempts to transfer programmes stored in my Sky+ box to dvd and have failed. They are connected to each other by scart. I have searched through all the channels in the dvd recorder and cannot see the Sky through the dvd. Does it need to be tuned in and if so can anyone explain how to do it. Not too clued in on technology(obviously)- Sorry

Connect the DVD player to the Sky+ box via the SCART connection.

The usual way of doing things is:
Sky+ TV SCART out -> DVD SCART in
DVD SCART out -> TV SCART in

Then just play the programs on Sky+ you want to record to DVD (either just normally or use the COPY function to play out multiple programmes), select the require AV input on your DVD recorder (e.g. AV1) and press RECORD.
