    Hi all,
I flew coming up to Christmas with Ryanair. The flight was delayed by 6 hours. I was just happy to get home and was grateful to actually get there. I spoke to some other people on the flight who pointed out that the boarding passes actually state if you have a delay greater than 2 hours you should notify Ryanair. Im sure this is for customer satisfaction etc. They said given the magnitude of the delay, I certainly should contact Ryanair.
As stated, I was delighted to get home and would feel a little bad complaining, especially as flights all around me were being cancelled, so Im not being a snotty customer. My question is this: what are your opinions on this? And as stated Im not being a sour customer and I dont want some comment saying 'shut your mouth and be glad you got home', because I am glad I got home! I just want your opinions on this sort of situation.
    Thanks

I believe this is more to do with your rights. I believe if a serious delay is incurred you are meant to get some kind of compensation (Free meal or place to stay etc.)

I know in the UK if your train is delayed and causes a missed connection incurring more than one hour delay you can get them to pay for your cab to catch up with your train.
