I got a duvet set for xmas! I was delighted cos I just love bed linen and can't afford the good ones sometimes!:o
But unlike OP I'm a girl and my family know I like bed linen!!! Don't feel bad for getting that, my uncle got loads of duvet sets and duvets for his 21st a few years ago!!!!! He was still living at home, but my granny was beside herself with all the sheets and stuff!:D

the more you watch the aul teen shows the more your mother regresses to needing to take care of you. She's only looking after her young son, bless her cotton socks.

I would take it that whomever gave you the gift values you very little or that you have disgustingly long toe nails and people are to nice to draw your attention to it.

It's the items of clothing most commonly seen on children, one of the items which covers their entire body and comes in one piece with a zip up the middle.

People always mock the gift of socks yet more often than not we spend more time looking for clean socks in the morning than any other item of clothing.

That said though, there's nothign nice about getting a pair of 4 euro penny's socks and nothing else.

Like the nightware they used to wear in the olden days?...like you'd see on Little House On The Prairie?

And girls find that attractive?....what happened to lace undies and pop socks!?

I don't knock socks as Xmas presents, i normally get a few pairs and wear them...it's amazing how many pairs of socks you go through a year!

Nah, a onesie covers from tips of the toe upward. My gf's housemate and my friend was wearing one the last day while watching and I found it a little odd but absolutely adorable at the same time. I think girls wear them for comfort and warmth rather than anything else.

It's an absolute crime to watch that joke of a show and give them arseholes even more money so they can think they are even better than you than they already do. Everybody that has watched more than one full episode of that show needs a serious eye opener to what they're actually doing. It's up there with stealing from old people.

God no, that picture is horrific. Day Walkers should be relegated to a dark, dank basement cut off from all human contact.

Yes it bloody well is. I'm all for television watching diversity. I watch my fair share of twaddle. But the Hills is one of the worst shows ever created. It rolls the worst aspects of many different shows into one.

Fake show trying to pretend its real? check
    Truly horrendous actors? check
    Vapid characters? check

Somebody already beat me to this revelation in this thread but Richard, seriously, do the world a favour and stop watching. Even trash like American Idol has a few redeeming qualities. This has none and the fact that it was popular enough for a spin-off is a travesty of modern telly.

I wish I got a duvet set for Xmas.

I got (no joke) from my absolutely lovely mother.. a 4e set of jammies (saw them in dunnes reduced from 6e) that feel like sandpaper, a new toothbrush and a tin of spam. SPAM! from fecking lidl. Apparently she eats it and thought id like it (im a broke student, she was actually serious).

Bless her I feigned gratefuless but twas all I could do not to break my heart laughing an tell her to piss off with herself :) in a loving way of course...

Note to self: do not buy mammy books/dvd boxsets/clarins giftsets anymore.
