UPC - picture - no sound

    I was away for a few days over Christmas and did as suggested by a technician lately and plugged out the box. Came back to nothing first, now i have picture but no sound and they can't get someone out till Thursday :eek: Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this before i lose my reason :)

    Make sure the scart cable is plugged in fully at both ends. That's probably it.

    Happened to me before in my case was just that the Scart cable wasn't plug in correctly, so maybe check that.

    That was the only thing the UPC guy recommended - plugged and unplugged it - no joy, but thanks for the suggestions.

    You have to make sure it's snug in the sockets. Some sockets are very tight, depending on the manufacturer. Also, did you check that the volume is turned up on the NTL decoder?
