IKEA are doing a deal up until Christmas - any gift vouchers bought return an additional gift voucher to the value of 10% of your voucher purchase. They don't seem to be publicising it - but it's a handy way to get an additional 10% off their Jan sale prices, if you've your eye on a particular item. It's a normal voucher, with no extra restrictions.

So if I buy 500 euros worth of vouchers they will provide me with 550 ?

Exactly. Here's a link to the equivalent deal in oz (can't see anything about it in Ireland - but they were doing it yesterday): http://www.aussier.com/ikea-voucher-free-bonus-10/

Its only on the second voucher of equivalent value

eg but two vouchers of €100, get 10% extra on the second (or 10% discount on the second) total cost €190, total value €200

    Equivalent to a 5% discount

    The website says

"For every IKEA gift card you buy
    between 20th & 23rd December,
receive 10% of the value purchased,
on another gift card for free!"

So if I buy a card for 500 euro, I would expect them to give me another card with 50 euro free on it.

I doubt that's the case - otherwise you'd buy a voucher for €100 and another for €90 in order to claim a voucher for €19. And if you mean you need to buy two vouchers to qualify - nope - that wasn't the case yesterday - single voucher purchases were getting the same 10% deal.

    It's a 10% deal, not a 5% one.

went to Ikea tonight, the offer is what ever you spend on one card is matches to 10% on another card.

So 500 spent is 50 on the other card.

On a side note - they are putting the sale signs up for the Jan sale, it is about 10% off some random larger items like tables and chairs, some items 50% off, like candles and cushions. All in all it looks like a poor sale !

These are the daily offers :

If they were selling the vouchers online it would make sense, but having to physically go to Ikea to get them is insane
