Hey Tira, how are things. Snow is kind of going here but I think it's still dodgy around when it comes to ice.

I'm set enough for xmas. Baught my parents TV, little sister something for her new DsI from santa. The rest are ok I think :p. I'm bored out of my mind here at home. Can't wait until back into routine again. I don't work well like this :(

And I wanted to purchase a lovely RWD altezza :D - My MG done a 1/10th of a one up the road just there. I was on Icey snow and said what the heck, slam on accelerometer on 1st gear, car spun a few degrees right :D Dodgy drain beside it though. If only had an open space :)

I looked into an Altezza a few years ago. went with a sensible fwd diesel instead. only regret it sometimes :)

They lovely looking cars though, supposed be a bit dead. Very boy racer looking :p. The Lexus IS200 is a bit less boy racer looking though.

Yeah Tax + Petrol consumption would be terrible. Once I get this loan paid off... I'm tempted to go for the 2.5 litre KV6 MG ZS to replace this thing but tax on that is 1K :( I'll hang on for a few months anyways. I'm terrible when I get car buying ideas into my head, cars I can't afford ha.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,744 ✭✭✭deRanged

the petrol and tax wouldn't bother me that much - I do tiny mileage each year so could afford it.
one of the things that did put me off was the stupid gauges!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,579 ✭✭✭Webmonkey

Oh yeah the ones on top console? - Thought they were fitted aftermarket. They stupid alright though.

I think they are aftermarket, it's just all the cars I looked at had them.

I'll just stick with my plan of an Mx-5 if I ever get the space for one.

I was out and about in the motor today.
Had to go to the post office in togher, some really slippy roads up there!
Had a great laugh fishtailing and drifting around :D

    I love trains too...but six hours is a long journey...even for a boredom-free person like me :P ^_^
