if people want to spend their money on the jml verison, so what!

Its feeding an overpriced economy thus keeping prices high, which effects everyone.

after reading all the goings on here i decided to part ways with €8 of my hard earned money.
Now all I've got for it is a manky looking red thing that KEEPS SHOCKING ME with static.

really really wish i hadnt bought it.

As not even my dog wants it as a lie-on, she won't go near it either as it keeps zapping her too

I dont know why it hates us so much :p

Thats what my sister said until she tried my one... must be the fabric blend?? Cos its zapping everyone

Its really really annoying whatever it is.
Maybe its my leather couch.. but then that wouldnt explain the dog getting zapped on her bed/floor.

    lifes little mysteries :D

    +1 for Dunnes.

They have it in the supermarket section and it's Dunnes-own brand. It's called Red/Blue Cozy Blanket and is boxed.

I got one in homestore and more in Tallaght today, they had about 10 or so left - all green or brown. I do have the static problem with it though

Homestore and more Liffy Valley had these today 9.99 each Brown Green Cream

Just after getting 1 here too. Only 8 or so brown and a yuck green left. Dont bother trying any of the other stores in liffey valley cause there are none. I know from looking!

Managed to get an Argos (navy) and a brown Homestore one to give as gifts.

Had a quick look at them and the Argos is much superior to the Homestore(Brown)one.

The Home store(Not JML band) has big static problem(might wear off?), is thinner, has no pocket and the sleeves are very narrow, very close together and short. ok though for a tenner.

The argos one is a bit thicker, and has wider baggy sleeves with some logo sewn into it and 1 pocket - maybe a bit overpriced for what it is at 30 euros.

I have one of the Penneys "Couch Cosys" too! Don't get much of a chance to use it though:( I'd say there's little or no difference between the slanket and athe penneys one, I had a feel of a snuggie in heatons and could feel no extra softness:pac::pac:

(sniggers at Basq having a couch cosy)

I bought a Couch Cosy, in Super Quinns Supermarket last week ,and I am delighted with it , really cosy & warm. cost only €7.99

love my snuggie, best buy ever :D

    Better idea.
    Buy fleece jacket.
    Wear back to front.
    Same as slankey whatever.

For those in the real world. Get a nice cosy blanket (blankey). Throw over oneself and enjoy. Surely we're not that lazy we can't lift a blanket to reach a remote?

I know this thread is a bit old but just wondering does anyone know if Penneys / Dunnes are doing the Snuggie type blankets again or if they are in stock? Am on the look out for one and know Argos do them. Thanks. :D
