I was in Heatons today in cork and they are sold out and won't be getting them in before the christmas.

Anyone know of any other shops in cork or kerry that would stock them?

I saw them in Debenhams over the weekend

Heatons in Tralee had about 7 or 8 last Thursday.

I was asked to get one of these - Either Pennys or GML one would be fine.

Tried several shops in Blanchardstown (Heathons, Kitchen Shop, Pennys, Dunnes).

Anyone seen a stock of them recently anywhere in Dublin? Would prefer Not online being so close to christmas an all.
    ta.

3-2-1 shop (it's a newish shop opp. Ilac entrance) on Moore St had Snuggling Blankets for a tenner. They're basically Slankets. Not sure of quality or stock though, wasn't too may left on the floor this time last week but might have more out by now.

That shop have a great €3 dvd section as well actually.

Argos are selling the snug rug. picked one up from blanch yday.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,882 ✭✭✭ozmo

Argos sold out(all branches in dub it seems). It was 30 euros for the not-genuine version anyway - not so much a bargain. Thanks for all the suggestions.
Seems to be a hot item this year - ah well no worries.

I got the Couch Cosy in Penneys in Blanch on Wed night. 8 lids - can't go wrong. They had red, green and blue colours but seemed to be selling quick. Nothing left in Argos and Heatons.

Much better value - but Pennys were sold out when I was there (I went in and asked Tuesday at 8pm and they said they were all gone.).
Tried a few shops in Liffey valey also last night - no joy.

I saw an ad on the telly last night for The Snuggie which is now being sold in Ireland via JML for €15.

Thing is that Pennys have been selling "Coach Cosy" for some time now for €8. its the exact same thing for a cheaper price.

I finally spotted somewhere that sells a decent quality one for 8 euro....it was with a book club in galway (you know the clubs that leave toys, books etc in businesses).

I thought i would be back in that place to get the number of the book club but haven't got the chance. Penny's one will have to do :(

    Off topic but:
Look up 'The WTF Blanket' on Youtube. It's a comical narration of the advertisement for a Snuggie. Very funny.

On topic, the Penneys one for €8 is brilliant. I wouldn't pay ridiculous prices like the ones posted above though.

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Arts Moderators, Entertainment Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 16,676 CMod ✭✭✭✭faceman

I started this thread to point out you could get the Couch Cosy for €8 in Pennys at almost 50% of the price of what JML are selling the snuggie for.

Yet people still asking where to get the slanket and snuggie. Seriously, is it any wonder why the cost of living in ireland is so high?
