Will you go to mass on Christmas Day?

Someone suggested a poll in another thread, thought I'd give it a shot. So, will you be going to mass? I imagine the usual mass-goers will be there, as will the ones who only go on Christmas and Easter, and as will those who will accompany their granny out of politeness. I'll be finishing my Christmas fry-up, how about you?

I'll be making the old annual trip to mass anyway if even only for the rush of children to the altar for the traditional "Blessing of the Toys". Damn evil toys!

I suggest a poll in this thread.

You mean a different one than the one at the top of the page?

like it or not, Christmas is a religious event. if you don't do Christmas, fair enough, if you do...presents, time off, blah blah blah and don't go, it's being a bit hypictitical

Im assuming this poll is not limited to Catholics and Former/Reformed Catholics ?

    Might skew the result slightly.

Right so Ill go to my workplace and even though its closed ill just break into the place and do a days work despite the risk of setting off the alarms and being arrested/sectioned ?

It's open to everyone, do Protestants go to church on Christmas? I don't know really...Judging solely by the religious forums, it seems the large majority of people on here are either Christian, or atheist/agnostic.

Technically most do but most denominations wouldnt refer to their service as "mass"

Not trying to nitpick here just dispel any confusion.
    Sure its Jesus' bday....

Er its actually not. Unless the King of the Jews follows the same protocol as the Queen of the UK RE: Not celebrating ones birthday on the actual anniversery of ones birth ?

Never gone to christmas and I'm not planing on starting.

There is T.V. to be watched and lounging to be done. I'm far too busy for mass. :p

The traditional "blessing of the toys"?!

Is that to stop them getting possessed or something?
