Maplin: USB Electronic Drumset - is it any good?

    My 9 year old son wants a drum set form Santa. Because I don't know
    if he will play it for more than a few days I was thinking about something
    cheap - just to confirm that he would really be into it.

    What are your thoughts on that one?

    Looks pretty fiddley, a tabletop one might be a better option.

    A freind of mine got one last xmas and returned it in the new year.it was a load of s**te to be honest.

    Do you know what exactly was wrong with it?
    I saw a few videos on youtube yesterday and it looked pretty much okay.

    Go to Maplins if you want to pay over the odds for computer nick nacks
