the Comedian.exe stopped working

    I saved comedian.exe to the desktop and when I double click I get a message saying comedian has stopped working. after that I get a 'Resident Shield Alert' all coloured Red (which I associate with danger and so is scaring the hell out of me)

    If someone can help me I promise I will never ever refer to you guys as nerds again.

    Please help.

    When I log in as another user every time I click on anything I get a message that the .exe is infected. It then opens a few pages trying to sell me a virus removal package, and other tabs including porn.

    Perhaps the copy you downloaded was actually a virus in disguise, where did you get it from?

    Please download DDS and save it to your desktop.
    • Disable any script blocking protection
    • Double click dds.pif to run the tool.
    • When done, two DDS.txts will open.
    • Save both reports to your desktop.

    Please include the contents of the following in your next reply:

    DDS.txt
    Attach.txt.
