boardies when your offline and going about your normal day to day business?.

I do, name's which immediately come to mind are our three amigo's here -Zohan, Dr.B and Frada - they actually come across as people who'd all be mates in real life.

But this thread was prompted by a chap I'd dealings with the other day, a young lad who was a geninely nice, down to earth guy with no axe to grind and no ill will felt towards anyone and for some reason I thought of 'Minidazzler'.

When I changed gyms recently I noticed some people looking at me, well I was a new member in their gym, but I'm obviously not new to weight training. This went on for a fwe weeks, then one lad came over and said "excuse me, are you Mairt?", then went on to introduce me to more boards members & I've made a few new real life friends.

Sometimes, but generally only if it's triggered by a PM or something direct, really.. kind of ignorant like that I suppose.

There's a lot of people I've known for years online through other venues (gaming, mostly) that I think about sometimes, though, if that counts.

Whenever I'm out at some function & see plates of sandwiches served, I immediately think, 'Ohh, Degsy would'nt like this!'

Now, this is strange cos I've never had any dealings with the bloke & haven't got an earthly clue what his issue with sandwiches is.
