I have a 6230 and 2 6230is, and none of them in good shape. In one the loudspeaker (i.e. incomming call) does not work, second one the connection for the charger is bad, you have to get it just right and even then it will stop charging after a while, and the third one, as soon as it boots up, the screen goes blank. Is it feasible to open these babies up and, say, swop the speaker? I opened the casing and they seem to be held in place by a non-standard screw. If I got the correct screwdriver, is is easy/impossible to swop the speaker?

everything is feasible depending on your manual skills. You will need torx screwdriver, forgot which number but that can be easily found on the net. Also I don't think its to difficult, Nokia are pretty easy to service. If you had Iphone to fix, oh man, thats tough one.

I'd say the third one just needs the f/w updated and it should work.

It doesnt stay powered up long enough to do anything with it.
