    Right gonna jump on the bankwagon and start one of my own Logs to basically keep track of how i'm doing. I've attempted to keep track on Excel but failed miserably due to laziness so im going to use Boards (since im on it so much during work) to keep score.


    First one this weekend:

    €100 accum with Boyles:

    Spurs 1-2 to beat Stoke
    Man City 4-9 to beat Fulham
    Bohemians 1-2 to beat Galway
    Seville 4-9 to beat Espanyol

    Returns €469.44

    Spurs, Man City, Seville are at home while Bohs are away.

    Bank = -100

    After a disastrous opening bet its time for improvement:

    2 €100 doubles:

    Barcelona to beat Rubin Kazin @ 1-2
    Chelsea to win Carling Cup @ 11-4

    Returns: €562.50 (Boyles)

    Goldikova to win Breeders Cup Mile @ 6-4
    Chelsea to win Carling Cup @ 11-4

    Returns €937.50 (Ladbrokes)

    Actually took a bit of Chelsea last Friday @ 10-3 before the draw as well. With the squad they have their B team are better than the majority of the sides in the PL. With Man U playing Spurs and City playing Arsenal, 2 of the favs are going to be gone before the semi's. The semi's are over 2 legs as well which gives less chance of an upset as the better team normally goes through. Chelsea have a favourites chance in this and can only shorten further.

    Nope but i am burning it alright. Really thought Barca would win last night but not to be. Still just need Goldikova and Chelsea to do the business for me now and all will be back in the positive - easy really;)

    If I were you, don't put so much on. :P

    A max bet for me is below €20 (for now at least)

    And if you're into your football, I'd choose William Hill.
    I haven't a bad word to say about them. :)

    €100 John Higgins to win Premier League Snooker @ 9-4 Ladbrokes. Looks like it will be him and O'Sullivan in the final and Higgins is playing very well - beating O'Sullivan last night.

    CL back this week and the 2 matches in Group F make the most appeal.

    Barca 8-11 to beat Inter
    Rubin to beat Kiev 20-21

    If Rubin win they are looking good to qualify and will hope to do so at home. If they win that means Barca must beat Inter or they are all but gone. Should be a cracker of a match so a handy double of 80 pays 269.78 with Boyles.

    Edit btw the Rubin match is at 5.30 and the Barca game at 7.45 so they will obviously know the result come kick-off.

    Summary thus far

    Post 1. -100
    Post 2. -200 - bet open with €937.50
    Post 7. -80
    Post 8. +220
    Post 9. -100 - bet open with €325
    Post 10. -80
    Post 11. -100 - bet open with €459

    Ignoring open bets I have lost €360 and recouped €220 so net loss is €140.
    Though effectively I would be up €10 if you factor in the €100 double on Goldikova/ Chelsea as Goldikova won @ 6-4 and the winnings are riding on Chelsea. I fancy my selections for this weekend and am currently trying to select different combinations.

    €100 Chelsea DNB v Arsenal - evens (William Hill)

    Good price considering Chelsea are on fire and Arsenal minus RVP. Lampard looks like he will available to play as well not that it matters as Chelsea are the only team in the PL who can have 3 or 4 of their first-team missing and you would hardly notice.
