    golly, in the olden daze when school trips were less regulated we went on a mad Donegal expedition, like ten people in the geog teacher's mini, and we slid down Muckish from that old mine, in the twilight.

    These look like they were taken Sat morning. I took a detour that way to take some photos and have similar images.... was hoping that the tops of the pillars would be above the fog.

    Well done izzygill, your in the right area. Taken from the west side of Dooish's little brother Edenadooish. It was too wild and cold at that stage to climb to the top Dooish on Sunday........

    The lake in the shot is Croloughan Lake.

    my guess is that its on the way from Doochary to Fintown, that uphill part of the road

    theres a couple of other shots no one has had a stab at yet I see

    Its along a main road and I'd say a lot of boardies here have passed by it. An easier pic of it below, for Mufflers sake.....
