Songs With Hidden (Or Not So Obvious) Meanings

This Britney song is my favourote song with a naughty hidden meaning.

EDIT: I'm not saying it's my favourite song, just that it is blatantly explicit and yet it was sold to kids with no Parental Advisory sticker. Favourite cause she got away with it.

Also like Ebeneezer Goode (Ezzer Goode - E's are good) by The Shamen

    Anyone know anymore?

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

That was just a coincidence, The Beatles have all said this many times.

Title of the song was based on a picture John Lennons son drew called "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds"

In an interview published in this month's Uncut, Sir Paul admitted drugs "informed" much of the Beatles' music.

He said the song Got To Get You Into My Life was "about pot - although everyone missed it at the time", and Day Tripper was "about acid".

He added it was "pretty obvious" that Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was inspired by LSD, and other songs made "subtle hints" about narcotics.

Come on Pete it's hardly hidden, "all of the boys and all of the girls are begging to 'if you seek amy'"

It's about as subtle as the brick that occupies britney's skull in place of her brain. Besides noone wants to "if you seek ay" that doped up hoe bag!

\Sorry, I really dislike that song....

Richie Kavanagh's "Pussy Pussy Cat" is a subtle satirical song describing the greed and selfishness of the members of the Irish Government. The hard-hitting verse that reads:

“Oh me girl friend has a pussy a lovely pussy now
An everytime I rubs it a she goes miaow
She has a lovely pussy I seen it in her house
I did I seen her pussy cat a gobble up a mouse!

shows Kavanagh's contempt for the leaders of his country with the girlfriend representing then leader of the country Bertie Ahern and the Pussy representing the building developers and banking fat cats.

I forgot my favourite 'hidden meaning' song of all time is a song by Tupac

I'll post it here and see if anyone can spot what he is singing about that don't know the song that is :)

Beyonce and Jay Z did a version and ruined it. Took out the hidden meaning and bastardized it to f**k.

    Answer is spoilered below video!

    Contains explicit lyrics

    The 'girlfriend' is his gun.

Anyone who can't work out what his 'girlfriend' is is not very intelligent to put it mildly. About as subtle as a hammer to the face. No offence intended to the OP btw.

Actually changed my mind, It's not as obvious as I first said that his girlfriend is the gun, but it is obvious that the subject matter is gun-related. So apologies to Pete. Looked up some of the lyrics, the extended metaphor of gun/girlfiend gets a bit gross, ''Our first date, couldn't wait to see you naked
Touch you in every secret place, I can hardly wait
to bust freely, got you red hot, you so happy to see me
I love finger fcukin you, all of a sudden I'm hearin thunder
    When you bust a nut'

Ahh, now you went and got me all horny.

It says what the song is about at the end, I think it's quite a cool song though. When you listen a 2nd time and you know what they're on about, it's pretty clever
