Buying "High end" watches online

Recently got engaged, the OH got the ring obviously and I'm getting a watch.

haven't made up my mind on the watch yet but doing some tentative research and the online prices look very competitive (eg this tag was 3k sterling tax free in Heathrow airport before haggling)

The problem is are online retailers genuine? And can anyone recommend any reputable online retailers (or which country is cheapest for the likes of Tag, Rolex etc). Also would I need the to go back to the original online retailer in the event of making use of the warranty?

Also what would the customs charges be if importing from an online dealer?

The "authentic" bit screamed scam to me! you are best finding a specialist forum on just watches. They will recommend the best, there might be a more suitable forum on here, like one related to jewellery or something.
