Potatoe thief!

    A big fat cock pheasant has been digging up and eating my spuds!! fat from my spuds!! I don't have a gun, any ideas on how to catch the bugger, I'll have those spuds one way or another!!!

    Bar the gun club idea, all your ideas are about as useful as tits on a bull !!! I want to catch him and eat him. There are hares in my garden as well and I don't want to invite shooters on to my land, I like the hares. Also pellets are a nuisance when you are trying to eat something.

    Leave a 6in builders block close to the potatoes.
    Sprinkle a large helping of black pepper on to the block.
    Pheasent will inhale the pepper ,throw his head back,let out an
    enormous sneeze while bringing his head forward with speed.
    Smash his head on the block and knock himself out.
    Just be there when it happens, otherwise the fox will beat you to it.
